Overview
Mofirt is a specialized mobile application designed to digitize and optimize fishery management. The platform serves as a comprehensive tool for fish farmers and industry stakeholders to monitor pond conditions, track fish growth, and manage operational data in real-time. This project addresses the need for technological integration in traditional aquaculture, aiming to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
Design Philosophy: Functionality & Data Clarity
The UI/UX of Mofirt is centered around Data Accessibility and Operational Efficiency.
Clear Data Visualization: Given that the app deals with various monitoring metrics (water quality, feed logs, and environmental data), the interface utilizes clean charts and high-contrast dashboards to ensure critical information is readable at a glance.
Rugged Simplicity: The design maintains a "functional-first" aesthetic—avoiding unnecessary clutter to allow users to focus on task management and data entry, even when working in outdoor or high-pressure environments.
Logical Flow: The navigation is structured to follow the natural workflow of fishery operations, ensuring that tracking and reporting are intuitive for users of varying technical backgrounds.
Technical Execution
UI Design (Figma): I developed the full interface using Figma, creating a scalable design system that includes custom icons and data-focused components specifically tailored for agricultural/industrial monitoring.
Prototyping (MarvelApp): To simulate the real-world application of the monitoring system, I built an interactive prototype in MarvelApp. This allowed for testing the user journey from viewing the main dashboard to drilling down into specific pond analytics.
Information Architecture: Focused on a hierarchical data structure that organizes complex information into digestible modules, making it easier for users to manage multiple locations or ponds simultaneously.
